so today i was biking to drop off some videos i'd rented and when i got to the block where my video rental place is i rode up on the sidewalk because, come on, it's my block, who cares. apparently some old dude cares because he shouted at me BICYCLES OFF THE SIDEWALK and i just reflexively said shut up because come on dude, shut up. i dropped off my videos and got back on my bike (in the street) and stopped at the next light when i saw the same old dude walking across the street. i shouted at him ASSHOLES OFF THE PLANET and while i laughed about it for awhile after i rode a few more blocks i wondered to myself if it was actually funny or not
